Aller au diable Vauvert signifiait donc sortir de la capitale avec tout ce que cela comportait de dangers. On emploie toujours cette expression pour signifier « partir loin en dépit des risques du voyage ».« Casser sa pipe », « Pour des prunes », « À tire-larigot », « Être collet monté », « Une vie de bâton de chaise », « Mort aux vaches !
